Dear Sir/Madam, 65TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2024 OF THE NIGERIAN ECONOMIC SOCIETY: CALL FOR SUBMISSION OF THESES FOR NES PhD THESES COMPETITION The President and the Executive Council of the Nigerian Economic Society (NES) is pleased to inform you and invite submissions from interested postgraduate grandaunts into the NES 2024 PhD Theses Competition in recognition of the excellent contributions and promotion of the economics profession. The NES PhD Theses Competition was instituted in 2012 to recognize and reward scholarly excellence among our young scholars in the Economics profession in Nigeria. Over the years, young PhD holders have been awarded the prize. The award is open to all PhD candidates that successfully defended their theses in 2023/2024 academic sessions. However, entries will be accepted ONLY from registered MEMBERS of the Nigerian Economic Society. Assessment will be based on contribution to knowledge, originality, language/style, creativity, and coherence. Interested grandaunts should send soft copies of their defended theses to: https://forms.gle/pyrJteGB23gjBa138. Submitted theses should be signed by their supervisors and HODs with evidence that they have passed the oral defence as well as undergone final corrections and copy-editing for spelling and grammatical errors.
