2019 Election of New Council of the Nigerian Economic Society

The Executive Council of NES hereby informs its members that at the Business Session of 2019 Annual Conference of the Society which comes up on the 18 September 2019, at the Nigerian Air Force Conference Center and Suites, Kado, Jahi District, Abuja, the following offices of the Governing Council shall become vacant.

1. President
2. Two Vice-Presidents
3. Secretary
4. Assistant Secretary
5. Business Manager
6. Internal Auditor
7. Publicity Secretary
8. Editor
9. Three Associate Editors
10. Three Ex-officio Members

In view of the provisions of Article XIII of the Society's Constitution, any interested member of the Society should obtain a nomination form from the Secretariat and submit completed form to:

UI Post Office Box 22004, Ibadan, Nigeria

The completed nomination form can also be submitted by email to the Secretary through nesibadan@gmail.com and copied to uchemord@yahoo.com. Please note that it is only financially up-to-date members that are qualified to vie fo offices in NES Council or nominate candidates for such offices.
